Hello, and welcome to my brand new blog site! I am very excited to have finally started my brand as a scientist. Personally, I am more in tune with the quick social media: such as twitter and instagram, so I am looking forward to longer writing and being able to write in depth about some of the things going on in my life and in the world of academia and science social media.
One of the things I am most passionate about in the science world is science communication, so I hope that this website and blog can serve as a means of outreach to the public as well as provide updates as to where I am on my research and thoughts about what is currently going on in the academic world and other science outlets.

Video I took of Cyrtophora moluccensis in Yigo, Guam wrapping a scarab beetle. The beetles ended up being strong enough to escape.
