PREVIOUS RESEARCH
ROGERS LAB
From 2018-2020, I worked for Dr. Haldre Rogers as an undergraduate research assistant. There I worked with PhD Candidate Jerilyn Calaor in her research focused on food web dynamics in the Mariana islands. My main duties included contributing to experiment set up and design, insect and arachnid identification, and assisting in field work.

In the summer of 2019, I received the ISU Finch Funds Grant to travel to the Marianas. I went with Jerilyn to the Marianas for the field season, where we sampled for insects and arachnids in Guam, Rota, Saipan, and Tinian. We spent our field days setting up insect traps and sampling. On lab days, we filtered samples and talked about how best to go through the samples upon our return to Iowa State University.
